Lord Jesus Christ,

You turn and depart with Your grace and Gospel from the land and people who despise You and Your Word, as You Yourself explain with an example when You withdrew from the Pharisees, hypocrites, and others towards Tyre and Sidon, and allowed the saddened Canaanite woman to meet and find You, even though You had just entered a house and did not want anyone to know. Grant to our grieving hearts and consciences that we may receive You with true faith and constantly follow You, search for You in Your Word, and obtain relief from You in our every need. O Lord, Son of David, have mercy upon us.
