Another Prayer for Laetare

Lord Jesus, at Your command, bread and fish were abundantly distributed by Your dear disciples among the multitudes who encamped under Your name. Therefore, today our eyes and the eyes of all righteous Christians wait upon You, O Lord, and we are encamped in the places wherein You have ordered and placed us. Bless our lodging, station, calling, work, and service, just as You have placed each of us into his own little office. Grant that under Your blessing we may support ourselves honestly, and that we may obtain from You all that we lack through damages and affliction. May we daily take comfort in Your provision, as You bestow temporal and eternal goods and grant to each according to Your will. Help preserve whatever has been entrusted to us according to Your gracious will. Bless us and our dear progeny by Your protection, goodness, and grace.
